The Russell County Middle School Site-Based Decision-Making Council will hold a special called meeting Friday morning as the search for the school’s next principal continues.
The meeting is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. central time in the room above the pool at the Russell County Schools Auditorium and Natatorium Complex.
Following routine business, council members will review results and input from the recently completed principal selection criteria survey.
The council will also discuss and may take action on final interview questions and possible performance response tasks for principal candidates.
Later in the meeting, members will enter executive session, as permitted under Kentucky Revised Statute 61.810(1)(f), to review principal candidate applications. Any action following the executive session will be taken after the council returns to open session.
The agenda also includes discussion of future meeting dates before adjournment. Public comments will be accepted near the beginning of Friday’s meeting.
