The Lady Laker Softball team saw its season come to an end last night, falling 11-1 to the Clinton County Lady Bulldogs in the 16th District Tournament.
Madelyn Roy led the Lady Lakers with a pair of hits in the game, and Rylen McGowan drove in the lone run for Russell County.
The Lady Lakers finish the season with a final record of 20-8. That’s the most wins in a season for the Lady Laker Softball program since 2019.
