The Russell County Lady Laker soccer team shut out the Wayne County Lady Cardinals, 3–0.
Addison Coffey led the Russell County offense with two goals and one assist. Madison Bennett added one goal and one assist.
Goalkeeper Bella Blakey recorded two saves to preserve the shutout.
The Lady Lakers return to action Tuesday when they host the Clinton County Lady Dawgs. The varsity match begins at 5:30 p.m. on Ron Finley Field at the First National Bank Athletic Complex.
