The Russell County High School Baseball and Softball teams begin district tournament play tonight.
The 2-seed Laker Baseball team will take on Metcalfe County in the second game of the night, slated to get underway at around 7:30 this evening.
The Lady Lakers also earned the 2-seed and will take on Clinton County in the second game of the night, also slated to get underway at around 7:30.
This year’s district tournament is hosted by Metcalfe County.
Both district championships are slated to get underway at 6:00 tomorrow evening.
