The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team won big at Wayne County last night by a score of 18-5.
It was a big night for several Lady Lakers, as the team recorded 21 total hits. Madelyn Roy finished with 3 hits and a team-high 6 RBI, including a two-run home run. Camdin Cooper finished with a team-high 4 hits and 2 RBI. Addy Abrell, Olivia Robertson, and Miley Rankins each finished with 3 hits, and Robertson drove in 3 runs. Paisley Eads also hit a home run as part of a 2 hit, 2 RBI night.
Brylie Hardwick pitched six innings, striking out 5 batters.
The Lady Lakers are off today, but return home tomorrow for a matchup with Casey County.
