J.B. Root, age 83 of Campbellsville, passed away Friday at his home.
He is survived by his wife: Reva Root of Campbellsville.
Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Josh Root and Maggie of Russell Springs, and Stuart Schultz.
A daughter and son-in-law: Bridget Goldsmith and James of Elizabethtown.
Five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for J.B. Root will be conducted at 12 Noon, Eastern Time, Friday, April 10, 2026 at the First Methodist Church in Campbellsville with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is requested after 10 A.M., Eastern Time, Friday at the church until time of the funeral service.
Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the First Methodist Church of Campbellsville which can be made at the funeral home or at the church.
