The Laker Soccer team won its first region tournament game in program history last night, defeating the Warren East Raiders by a score of 5-1.
Luis Lopez scored a game-high two goals for the Lakers. Jose Lopez, Andre Perez, and Xavi Medrano each scored a goal in the win. Sebastian Betts-Jimenez, Connor Davidson, Jose Lopez and Andre Perez each had an assist.
Goalkeeper Xavion Russell had 9 saves on the night.
The Lakers return to action on Tuesday to take on South Warren at 5:30 at Bowling Green Junior High.
