A Russell County dispatcher was among the latest graduates from the Department of Criminal Justice Training’s Public Safety Dispatch Academy.
Joshua Grayson Tucker was one of 30 members to graduate from Class 163.
The academy is a four-week program. It is mandatory for any employee who will dispatch law enforcement officers by radio.
Graduates are trained on phone and radio procedures, how to use criminal databases, and emergency medical dispatch protocols.
