Jamestown Mayor Regena Hinton said the city is continuing to look at how to improve city sidewalks.
Hinton said the city has made some improvements, but knows there are more improvements that can be made.
Hinton said city officials continue to examine the sidewalks to see which ones are most in need of repair and which sidewalks create hazards for pedestrians. Those sidewalks are the top priority to repair as funds are available.
Hinton said it’s a balancing act to make sure the city is spending tax dollars wisely.
