Clark hits walk-off single to lead RCMS Softball to win over Rockcastle

Last night’s softball matchup between Russell County Middle School and Rockcastle County featured plenty of offense and some late-game heroics by Russell County’s Molly Clark, as the Lady Lakers came out on top 18-16.

Clark hit a single in the bottom of the 6th, scoring the winning runs. It was part of a 3 hit, 3 RBI game for Clark.

Allie Bailey led Russell County at the plate, finishing with a team-high 4 hits and 5 runs batted in, including two doubles and a triple. Lillian Davis finished with a pair of hits and 4 RBI. Hallie Knight and Kerigan Aaron each finished with 3 hits and 2 runs batted in.

As a team, the Lady Lakers finished the day with 22 hits.
