RCMS Lady Lakers defeat Hart County; RCHS Softball on the road at Lincoln Co tonight

The Russell County Middle School Softball team picked up a win over Hart County at home last night by a score of 13-3.

Hallie Knight led the Lady Lakers with 3 hits, including an inside-the-park home run. Knight drove in 2 runs in the game. Allie Bailey drove in a pair of runs as well, finishing the night with two triples. Kinsley Wilson finished with two hits for Russell County.

Bailey got the win in the pitcher’s circle, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits and striking out 4.

The high school Lady Laker Softball team is in action tonight, going on the road to Lincoln County.

First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 this evening.
