A Eubank woman has pled guilty for her role in a moped collision in Pulaski County last year that resulted in the death of a Cincinnati man.
20-year-old Kayleigh Dismuke pled guilty to an amended charge of manslaughter second-degree and operating a motor vehicle under the influence earlier this week. She initially faced a charge of vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol.
Dismuke was sentenced to 7 years on the charges.
The collision occurred last October. State Police say Dismuke was traveling northbound on Highway 27 when her vehicle struck a moped. That moped was being operated by 31-year-old Dino Collins of Cincinnati.
Collins was transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by the Pulaski County Coroner.
