The Russell County Lady Laker Soccer team picked up another shutout victory, defeating Glasgow 8-0 yesterday to improve to 2-0 on the season.
Addison Coffey scored 4 goals for Russell County, Madison Weisbrodt scored 3 goals, and Adriana Thomas added another goal.
Weisbrodt had 4 assists, and Thomas assisted on a goal as well.
Liz Evans had one save for Russell County.
In the JV game, the Lady Lakers picked up a 5-0 victory.
Jayde Lawless and Jorja Branham each scored a pair of goals, and Mailee Cooper added another.
Lawless finished with two assists and Jasmine Rowe had 5 saves as goalkeeper.
The Lady Lakers will take on Monroe County in a district matchup tomorrow. That game is scheduled to get underway at 1:30 at Finley Field.
