The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team picked up another win in Florida yesterday, defeating Edmonson County by a score of 7-6.
Addie Davis led Russell County with a pair of hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs for the Lady Lakers. Audrie Roy, Camdin Cooper, Brylie Hardwick, and Avery Hart each finished with a pair of hits on the day as well. Roy, Hardwick, and Nevaeh Duncan each drove in a run for Russell County.
Hardwick earned the win pitching for Russell County, pitching five innings in relief, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits and striking out 3 batters.
The Lady Lakers are scheduled to take on Raceland in their final game as part of their trip to Florida today.
