The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team fell to Bath County in the Florida Softball Beach Bash yesterday.
The Lady Lakers led 6-2 at the end of the first inning, but Bath County battled back to pick up the victory.
Nevaeh Duncan drove in a pair of runs for Russell County, and Rylen McGowan led Russell County with a pair of hits and two runs scored.
The Lady Lakers will look to get back in the win column today when they take on Lewis County. That game is scheduled to get underway at 5 p.m. CT.
