Russell County Golfers Shoot Season-Best 150 in Win Over Casey County

The Russell County High School boys golf team turned in its best team performance of the season Monday, defeating Casey County in a non-conference match.

The Lakers fired a team score of 150 to pick up the victory, finishing 13 strokes ahead of Casey County’s 163.

Gabe Browning led Russell County with a round of 36, followed closely by Grider Selby with a 37 and Raylan Mcanich with a 38. Grant Wilson and Josiah Dudgeon each carded a 39, while Gavin Campbell finished with a 40.

Also competing for the Lakers were Riggs Richardson with a 42, Ben Brown with a 44, Brockman Carter with a 48 and Collin Meyers with a 51.

Russell County’s 150 marked the team’s best score of the season.
