RC Tennis teams see seasons come to an end in region tournament

The Russell County Tennis teams saw their season come to an end in the region tournament over the weekend.

The Lakers received a bye into the second round, where they fell to top-seed Greenwood 3-0.

The girls defeated Glasgow 3-0 in the opening round of the tournament. Abby Helm, Callie Terry, and Laila Hammond picked up singles victories.

In the second round, the Lady Lakers fell to the top-seed South Warren 3-0.
