The Lady Laker Softball team won a nail-biter over Southwestern last night, coming back from down 7-4 in the final inning to win 8-7.
Miley Rankins drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 7th inning to give Russell County the win.
Camdin Cooper led Russell County with 2 hits and 1 run batted in. Rylen McGowan and Brylie Hardwick also drove in a run in the win.
The Lady Lakers go on the road for a matchup with Wayne County this evening, getting underway at 6:30.
