United States Senate candidate Andy Barr made a stop in Jamestown yesterday.
Barr, who currently represents Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, made stops in Russell County along with Clinton and Adair counties yesterday.
Barr said he’s enjoyed representing Kentucky’s 6th District, but would like to represent the entire state in the U.S. Senate. He said he’s familiar with the Russell County area and believes his values align with those of the community.
The U.S. Senate Primary election will take place in May.
