The Russell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of car break-ins over the weekend.
The sheriff’s office said multiple vehicles were broken into early Saturday morning around Bernard Ridge and McQueary Road.
The sheriff’s office said a firearm was stolen from one of the vehicles.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. All tips will remain anonymous.
The sheriff’s office reminds the public to make sure their cars remain locked and avoid leaving firearms inside.
Deputies Devin Blakey and Stone Bolin are investigating the thefts.
