Russell Springs man arrested on drug trafficking charge

A Russell Springs man was arrested on multiple charges including drug trafficking last night.

44-year-old Ashley Lennon Denney was arrested on charges including trafficking in methamphetamine, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container, illegal possession of a legend drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Denney was arrested by Deputy Stone Bolin with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 7:15 last night.
