A man was flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital following a motorcycle wreck in Adair County late last week.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office said 43-year-old Levi Abbott of Columbia was operating a motorcycle southbound near the 4600 block of Knifley Road when he crossed the center line in a curve and left the roadway on the northbound side.
The motorcycle traveled the ditch line and struck a culvert before coming to a stop. Abbott was transported to T.J. Health Columbia before being transported by Air Evac to University of Kentucky Hospital.
The accident is under investigation by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office.
