Lakers fall to Lincoln County

The Laker Football team fell at home to Lincoln County Friday night by a score of 35-12.

That was the final district game of the regular season. With the loss, the Lakers finish fourth in the district. That means the Lakers will travel to Corbin in the first round of the playoffs on November 7 to take on the district 8 winner, the Corbin Redounds.

The Lakers will wrap up the regular season on Thursday night, as they host Monroe County for Senior Night.

The Falcons enter at 6-3 on the season, and are coming off a 47-7 win over Green County last Friday.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Finley Field.
