The Laker Band earned top honors in the Barren County Invitational on Saturday.
The Lakers finished first place over Washington County, Pulaski County, Metcalfe County, Glasgow, Somerset and others.
The Laker Band earned Best Visual, Best Music and Best Effect in addition to taking home first place overall.
The band also received best colorguard and best percussion in the preliminaries.
The Laker Band will compete in the Class AAA East Regional at South Laurel High School this coming Saturday.
