A Pulaski County man was arrested on drug charges early this morning.
Russell Springs Police say Officer Brenton Llane performed a traffic stop on a vehicle this morning to verify proof of insurance. Police say the operator of the vehicle, identified as Christopher Harper of Pulaski County, appeared to be under the influence when he was pulled over.
When officers searched the vehicle, they found drugs inside along with drug paraphernalia.
Harper was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 1:30 this morning.
