A traffic stop Monday evening in Casey County led to the arrest of a Liberty woman on multiple charges.
According to court records, Deputy Jamie Smallwood stopped a vehicle for having no visible license plate on Kentucky 501 near Strong Branch Road.
Deputy Austin Harris and K-9 Ranger assisted at the scene. Authorities say Ranger alerted to the odor of a controlled substance coming from the vehicle. During a search, deputies allegedly discovered a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, 37-year-old Samantha Osborn of Liberty, was also wanted on a parole or probation violation warrant.
Osborn was arrested and lodged in the Casey County Detention Center.
