The Laker Soccer team was victorious in district competition against Monroe County last night.
The Lakers picked up a shutout victory over the Falcons, coming out on top by a score of 8-0 to move to 2-0-1 on the season.
The Lakers go to Warren East on Thursday.
The Lady Laker Volleyball team opened its season at home last night, falling in a close one to Somerset by a score of 2 sets to 1.
The Lady Lakers will look to get in the win column on Thursday when they host Rockcastle County.
