The Russell County Laker Baseball and Lady Laker Softball teams are slated to be in action today.

The Laker Baseball team is scheduled to be in action this morning in Myrtle Beach as part of the Cal Ripken Experience. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 this morning.

The Lady Laker Softball team is scheduled to go on the road for a district matchup with Monroe County. That game is scheduled to get underway at 5:30 this evening, weather pending.
