Anna Carol Bell Chrisman, of Taylorsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Baptist Health, in Louisville. She was 84 years of age.
Born on April 15, 1942, in the Rowena Community of Russell County, she was a daughter of the late Osco and Pearl Craig Bell. Carol was a homemaker and a member of Keys Ferry Baptist Church. She loved singing at church, with her late husband, Charles. Carol also enjoyed camping with her family, working crossword puzzles, playing UNO, and watching wrestling on television.
Survivors include her children, Karen Spencer, of Taylorsville, Charles E. (and Cathy Jo) Chrisman, of Shepherdsville, Angela Denise Lucian, of Taylorsville, and Stacy (and Elizabeth Marie) Chrisman, of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Shannon McCauley, Treva McCauley, Austin Chrisman, Carol Lucian IV, Katie Jo Poston, Kaden Chrisman, and Mason Chrisman; her great-grandchildren, Morgan, Brianna, Cienna, Brennan, Bryson, Silas Ray, August, and Charlotte; and her brother, Eugene (and Linda) Bell, of Jamestown.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Chrisman, who passed away on November 4, 2024; her son-in-law, Donnie Spencer; her brothers, Freddie Bell and Hansel Bell; and her sisters, Rena Grider, Reba Franklin, Linda Graves, Betty Perkins.
Funeral services are at 2:00 P.M. C.S.T. on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Bobby Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. C.S.T. until the time of services on Saturday, at Bernard Funeral Home.
