A Russell County grand jury handed up several indictments yesterday.
A total of 34 individuals were indicted.
Those indicted included the following individuals:
Allen Booher, 51 of Albany; Clifford Kennedy, age 40; and Durward E. Salisbury, age 45, of Louisville charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, tampering with physical evidence, and being a persistent felony offender. Booher faces additional charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and traffic violations.
Christina M. Giles, age 35 of Russell Springs, charged with burglary first degree and assault first degree.
David A. Ross, Jr., age 34 of Jamestown, charged with strangulation first degree, two counts of assault fourth degree, alcohol intoxication, and being a persistent felony offender.
Dennis Watson, age 37, and Hannah Philpott, age 20, both of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joshua Broughton, age 45, of Russell Springs; Matthew Burton, age 33, of Jamestown; Jason Downey, age 49, of Corbin; and Charity Asbury, age 38, of Russell Springs, all charged with burglary second degree and theft by unlawful taking $1,000 or more. Burton also faces a charge of being a persistent felony offender.
Christopher Fortenberry, age 45, of Russell Springs, charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, trafficking in marijuana under 8 ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct third degree and being a persistent felony offender.
David Villegas, age 30, of Plano, Texas, charged with possession of cocaine and alcohol intoxication.
Alex Passmore, age 19, of Dunnville, charged with two counts of assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct second degree, menacing, and alcohol intoxication.
Dustin Pegg, age 30, of Greensburg, charged with driving under the influence, two counts of assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct second degree, menacing, criminal trespassing, attempting to disarm a peace officer, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jesse Burchett, age 36, of Jamestown, charged with assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, menacing, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct second degree, and being a persistent felony offender.
Raymond J. Seagraves, age 71, of Russell Springs, charged with driving under the influence -second offense, criminal mischief first degree, tampering with physical evidence, and traffic violations.
Robert C. Lee, age 46, of Jamestown, charged with unlawful imprisonment first degree, wanton endangerment first degree, and assault fourth degree.
Ricky Franklin, age 38, of Russell Springs, charged with fleeing or evading police third degree, resisting arrest, and menacing.
Lloyd Chapman, age 33, of Nancy, charged with unlawful imprisonment first degree, obstructing a highway, obstructing an emergency responder, public intoxication, disorderly conduct first degree, terroristic threatening, resisting arrest, harboring a vicious animal and permitting a vicious animal to run at large.
Juan Pablo Martinez Lopez, age 29, of Russell Springs, charged with unlawful imprisonment first degree, alcohol intoxication, resisting arrest, menacing, and criminal mischief first degree.
Misty Walker, age 46, of Jamestown, charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence.
Kristie M. Weston, age 38, of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a DUI-suspended license – third offense, being a persistent felony offender, and multiple traffic violations.
Jimmie Gosser, age 26, of Columbia, charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, wanton endangerment first degree, criminal mischief first degree, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and multiple traffic violations.
Brenda S. Martin, age 50, of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine and public intoxication.
Kevin Paul Taggart, age 57, of Michigan, charged with theft by deception – $10,000 or more and theft by deception – $500 or more.
Christopher D. Cape, age 40, of Russell Springs, charged with assault second degree, wanton endangerment first degree, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a persistent felony offender.
James E. Carter II, age 48, of Louisville, and Samantha Hatfield, age 41, of Jamestown, charged with burglary second degree, theft by unlawful taking $1,000 or more, and criminal mischief first degree.
Matthew T. Brown, age 31, of Albany, charged with driving under the influence – second offense, fleeing or evading police -third degree, possession of heroin, tampering with physical evidence, driving on a suspended or revoked license, and other traffic violations.
David R. Smith II, age 27, of Russell Springs, charged with burglary second degree, burglary third degree, criminal mischief second degree, and being a persistent felony offender.
Corey A. Sheppard, age 24, of Jamestown, charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, wanton endangerment first degree, being a persistent felony offender, and traffic violations.
Robert Thall, age 54, of Somerset, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance third degree, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a prescription drug not in a proper container, and traffic violations.
Julia Shipley Roysdon, age 31, of Indiana, charged with flagrant nonsupport.
