Read Across Russell County draws big crowd

The annual Read Across Russell County event drew a big crowd to the Russell County Public Library yesterday.

Rhonda Kimbler with the Russell County Education Association said the turnout was among the highest it’s been in recent years. Kimbler also told WJRS News the goal of the event is to spark a child’s interest in reading.

The annual event is a partnership between the Russell County Education Association and Russell County Public Library.
