The Russell County Middle School Baseball teams were victorious over Wayne County last night.
In the A game, the Lakers came out on top by a score of 22-6.
Brody Terry, Raylan McAninch, and Parker Brumley each finished with a pair of hits, and Julian Popplewell led the team with 3 runs batted in.
In the B game, the Lakers won 8-0.
Aidan Huckaby hit an inside-the-park grand slam, finishing the day with 5 runs batted in.
