Mowing set to begin at Jamestown Cemetery soon ; Mayor asks people to remove breakable items from gravesite

With spring’s arrival, many have already begun mowing their yards.

Jamestown Mayor Regena Hinton said city workers will soon begin mowing at the city cemetery and is asking local residents to remove items from gravesites that could potentially cause harm to city workers mowing the cemetery.

Items on the ground or near the base of stones should be removed to help protect city workers.
