Laker Baseball scores 17 runs in win at Monroe County

The Russell County Laker Baseball team came away with a district victory on the road last night, defeating Monroe County 17-6 in 5 innings.

The Lakers are now 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in district play.

The Lakers will be back at home on Monday, hosting Wayne County in our Stephens Pipe and Steel Laker Baseball Game of the Week on Laker Country 104.9.

First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at David Rexroat Field.
