Laker Baseball falls to Marion County

The Russell County Laker Baseball team dropped last night’s matchup against Marion County, falling to the Knights by a score of 6-2.

The Lakers fell behind early, as the Knights scored 5 runs in the 2nd inning and added another in the 3rd to jump out to a 6-0 lead.

The Lakers scored a pair of runs in the 7th inning, but were not able to complete the comeback.
