The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team fell in last night’s game at Taylor County by a score of 10-6.
Avery Hart had a big game at the plate, finishing with a pair of hits including a double and driving in 4 runs.
Rylen McGowan also drove in a run for the Lady Lakers.
Lily McQueary and Camdin Cooper each finished with a hit in the game as well.
Addison Hart got the start in the pitcher’s circle, pitching 2 innings and giving up 7 runs (4 earned) on 4 hits while walking 3 and striking out 2.
Brylie Hardwick entered in relief, pitching 4 innings and giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, walking 1 and striking out 4.
The Lady Lakers will look to get back in the win column when they go on the road Friday for a matchup at South Laurel.
