Gladys McClure Carnes, age 85, of Jamestown, KY passed away Wednesday, March 20 2024 at her residence.
She was born on Monday, January 09 1939, in Russell County, Kentucky.
She was the daughter of:
Mother – Verla Mann McClure, who has preceded her in death
Father – Stanley McClure, who has preceded her in death
Survivors also include:
Husband – Carl Carnes of Jamestown, KY
Two Sons: Timothy Carnes, spouse Jennifer, of Russell Springs KY., Anthony T. Carnes, spouse Tiffany, of Jamestown KY.
One Sister: Mary Ann Collins, spouse R.C., of Jamestown KY
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Morgan Dishman, Hunter (and Logan) Smith, Jensen Carnes of Russell Springs, Chase Carnes of Lexington, Colton Carnes and Gage Carnes of Jamestown; Her great-grandchildren, Sailer Dishman, Tanner Dishman, Briar Dishman, Parker Smith and Riley Smith; and a host of nephews, nieces, and other family members. Along with her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her brothers James McClure, Leon McClure, Stanley McClure Jr., Willis McClure, and Phillip McClure. She was a hairdresser and member of Freedom Christian Church. Pallbearers were Chase Carnes, Colton Carnes, Gage Carnes, Logan Smith, Zach Bernard, and Jerry Humble
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 23 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will be 10:30 AM Saturday, March 23 2024 at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY.
Interment will be in Carnes – Ballenger Cemetery, Black Fish Road, Jamestown, KY.
