The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department was called out yesterday afternoon to a fire on a balcony at an apartment complex on Main Street.
According to officials, eight firefighters were called to the apartment complex at 842 South Main Street and upon arrival, discovered a small fire on a balcony at one of the units.
Crews were on scene for about 30 minutes and were able to quickly contain and extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
