Those who haven’t paid their 2022 property tax bills have a limited amount of time to do so before incurring penalties.
The courthouse will be closed today and Monday, including the sheriff’s office, but anyone who is paying by mail will avoid penalties so long as the payment is postmarked by Dec. 31.
