The Laker Football team struggled on the road at Elizabethtown Friday night, falling 54-7 to the Panthers.
With the loss, the Lakers have lost seven in a row as they fall to 1-7 on the season.
The Lakers return home this weekend after three consecutive road games in a big district matchup against the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots.
The stakes will be high Friday night, as the winner will clinch the 4th playoff spot for District 2.
The Lakers and Patriots both enter with identical 1-7 records with both teams winless in district play.
