The Russell County Waste Tire Collection Event begins today and runs through Saturday.
Today and tomorrow, the collection event will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. while on Saturday tires will be collected from 8 a.m. until noon.
The collection site is the state highway garage, located at 867 Voils Road in Russell Springs.
This event allows Russell County citizens an opportunity to dispose of waste tires, free of charge.
