The Russell County Waste Tire Collection Event begins this week, beginning Thursday and going through Saturday.
On Thursday and Friday, the collection event will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Saturday, it will be from 8 a.m. to noon.
This will be at the state highway garage located at 867 Voils Road in Russell Springs.
This event allows Russell County citizens a chance to dispose of waste tires at no charge.
