Tornado touchdown in Pulaski Co. on Friday

National Weather Service officials confirmed over the weekend that a tornado touched down in neighboring Pulaski County this past Friday.

Officials say the tornado began on Hardwick Road in Bronston and injured two people when the mobile home they were in flipped over. Extensive damage was also reported at the Lake Cumberland Speedway before the tornado finally lifted in the Antioch community of Pulaski County.

The tornado received an EF-1 rating with maximum winds of 110 mph, according to NWS officials, and was on the ground for a little more than three miles, with a path width of 100 yards.
