Senior pitcher Cody Luttrell put together another solid performance on the mound Tuesday night, pitching six innings and striking out 9, while giving up just three hits and one run as the Russell County Lakers defeated the Green County Dragons 4-1 to win their 9th game in a row.
At the plate, Nathan Lawson, Issac Roy, Mayes Gosser, and Mason Gosser all drove in one run each to lead the Laker offense.
Nick Aaron picked up the save, pitching the final inning and striking out all 3 batters.
With the win, the Lakers improved to 22-4 on the season.
