RCSO releases activity report for April

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office released its activity report for the month of April.

Over the course of the month, the sheriff’s office responded to 429 calls for service, performed 22 arrests, made 11 mental health transports, and drove nearly 4,000 court security miles.

The sheriff’s office also had 64 court papers received, performed 7 criminal summons, 36 vehicle inspections, and issued 21 concealed carry of deadly weapons permits.

In addition, the sheriff’s office responded to 20 lockouts, 13 alarm calls, 19 auto collisions, 14 domestic calls, and 17 welfare checks along with 22 suspicious person complaints and 34 requests for a deputy.
