Those who are qualified to vote absentee in the upcoming primary election but would like to do so in person can begin doing so this week.
In-person absentee voting will take place Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the county clerk’s office inside the old courthouse.
This pertains to people who will not be in town on Election Day or the other early voting days, has a scheduled surgery on those days, or other excuses as determined by the state board of elections.
