The Russell County Track and Field teams competed in the Carl Deaton Classic meet in Greensburg last week, the final meet of the season before region.
The girls finished in 12th place with 10 points, and the boys came in 13th place with 5 total points.

Girl’ 800-meter run
• 5th place – Cadence Rager

Girl’ 1600-meter run
• 3rd place – Cadence Rager

Boys’ 300-meter hurdles
• 8th place – Mason Buras
Time – 53.51
Boys’ Shot Put
• 5th Place – Nick Ford
Distance – 40 feet, 2 inches
Boys’ Long Jump
• 10th Place –Clayton Trosper
Distance – 15 feet, 10.5 inches
The team will compete in the region meet on Monday, May 23, in Harrodsburg.
