WCNFH once again host site for KY Lt. Governor’s summer enrichment program

Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery is once again a host site for the Kentucky Lieutenant Governor’s Summer Enrichment Program.

The hatchery will be hosting EELCorps members and reaching Kentucky’s children with environmental education programming again this summer.

Three members will be trained in the Project Wet, Project Wild, and Project Learning Tree educational programs.

Members will serve a 450 hour commitment between May 9th and August 31st, 2022 for a total of 17 and a half weeks. This means the members will need to serve about 26-30 hours per week and must be 18 years of age or older.

The gross amount of the living allowance is $4,235 for this term. Members are also eligible for the segal education award, which is about $1,670 this term, and if candidates have questions about using the award or how it works, more information can be found here: https://americorps.gov/members-volunteers/segal-americorps-education-award.
