It was another big night for the Russell County Middle School Softball team, as the Lady Lakers scored 16 runs en route to a 16-1 win over Southern Pulaski Middle School.
Rylen McGowan and Brylie Jo Hardwick had homeruns in the game, as McGowan finished the night with 5 RBI and 3 hits, Hardwick drove in 3 runs, and Caroline Coffey and Camdin Cooper each drove in a pair of runs.
In the pitchers circle, Hardwick pitched three innings, giving up just two hits and one run, while striking out 7 of 11 batters.
The RCMS Lady Lakers improved to 11-2 on the season.
