Nearly 48 percent of Russell County adults have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to data from the CDC.
Data shows that 6,610 Russell County adults have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and just over 6,000 have been fully vaccinated.
65 percent of the county’s population age 65 and older are fully vaccinated, and 40 percent of the county’s population who are old enough to receive the vaccine are fully vaccinated.
